Lynden senior Kobe Elsner got some company after Friday when Sehome senior safety Jay Travier intercepted two passes to tie Elsner for the Whatcom County lead. Travier picked off five passes last year, and he did it in the last two games of the season to tie for the lead in 2017. Squalicum senior Ashton Toctocan had an amazingly acrobatic interception on Friday, and currently sits at three.
