When Cascade has the ball: The Kodiaks have put up points this season, but they perhaps haven’t met a team like the Mountaineers yet. Cascade will run the spread, which Baker has seen the first two weeks. Look for Jason Lee, Kaleb Bass, Kobee Malone and the rest of the Baker ball hawks to tip some passes and grab some interceptions.
When Mount Baker has the ball: This isn’t your parent’s Mountaineers. Look for multiple wide receivers spread out with Malone and Michael Kentner. The Mounties have been well-balanced the first few weeks, and we can expect to see more of the same.
Special Teams are special: Lee is all over the place on special teams. Kicking extra points, punting, and returning kicks. His ability to do multiple things will show up in Deming tonight.
Record Breaker: Bass is only 13 yards away from breaking the Mount Baker career record for passing yards, currently held by Jon Raney.
