BURLINGTON EDISON (2-3) AT LYNDEN (5-0)

Time: 7 PM Friday

Site: Rollie DeKoster Field

When Burlington Edison has the ball: The Tigers have gotten back to pounding the ball, and are playing their best at this current time. It will be a test for the Lynden defense, but it will be ready. Jacob Kettels can control the line of scrimmage from his nose tackle spot. Expect linebackers Bodie Human and Preston King to make tackles all over the field and safety Brendan Kleindel can hit like a ton of bricks. Corner back Kobe Elsner leads the county with four interceptions.

When Lynden has the ball: James Marsh should return at quarterback tonight, but Brock Heppner should still get snaps as well. Eric Martin-Mann has been impressive, and had a big game against Lakewood last week. Grant VanderYacht has emerged has the go-to receiver. Carson Bode and Dakota Baar provide great targets. The Lynden offense really hits on cylinders when its quarterback is efficient in the running game.

Statistical Progress: Martin-Mann is currently at 914 yards rushing in his career. He could become the 31st player in school history to rush for over 1000 yards tonight.
