THE FEATURED FOUR
Isaiah Carlson – Junior – Running Back/Outside Linebacker
Every defense will be gunning for him, and it really won’t matter. He will make plays, get yards and score touchdowns. His burst is rarely seen, and he’s just scratching the surface. He’s equally as impressive as an outside linebacker. Speed and strength for days, and an ability to tackle through the opposing ball carrier.
Landen Hatchett – Junior – Center/Defensive Tackle
Already one of the best linemen in Ferndale history, as well as Whatcom County. An extremely gifted athlete that is blessed with tremendous size and a passion for the game of football. Is also part of the best defensive line in the county.
Thomas Broselle – Senior – Wing Back/Cornerback/Punter
Not only is he incredibly fast, but his ability to cut without losing speed is a true joy to witness. The very definition of a homerun threat, averaging 15 yards per carry last season, and 18 yards per reception. Also a three-year starter at cornerback, and a sure tackler.
Jake Mason – Junior – Offensive Tackle/Defensive End
A very athletic lineman that can do a lot of different things. A pulling offensive tackle that can spring his all-star backs for huge gains. An amazing long snapper that is on point every time, and one of the best defensive ends in Whatcom County. The sky is the limit this junior.
Who will be Ferndale’s break-out player?
Conner Walcker – Sophomore – Wide Receiver/Safety
Only a sophomore, but he will make his presence known very quickly. Awesome size and ability, and a perfect last line of defense as a safety. Also, you might see a few deep passes from strong-armed quarterback Mark Schlichting to this athletic wide receiver.
