The Storm improved to 5-3 on the season after defeating the Mountaineers 25-13, 25-21 and 25-15. Offensively, Squalicum was led by Katie Nguyen who had eight kills. Olivia Swayne had a great performance both offensively and defensively with six kills and five blocks, and Chloe Ellis kept the machine going all game, dishing out 29 assists. Mount Baker fell to 2-7 on the season.
FERNDALE 3, NOOKSACK VALLEY 0
The Golden Eagles remained undefeated after beating a tough Pioneer squad 25-19, 25-23 and 25-13. Junior setter Brooklyn Cagle had an amazing 40 assists in the three sets, and also served up four aces. Mallory Butenschoen led Ferndale with 21 digs, while Alyvia Semu, Avery Schneider and Kaelee Bungard each racked up 10 kills. Nooksack Valley dropped to 6-3 on the season.
