The Pioneers put a scare into Sehome in the seventh inning when Eduardo Cerda tripled down the left field line to score pinch runners Jesse Tresselt and Jordan Minor. Cerda then scored when Cory Olney grounded out, but Moore kept his composure and forced the final batter to hit a comebacker to him and his toss to Gavin Ortega finished the game off. The Mariners only managed two base hits, but were able to reach base nine times from bases on balls.
