The Mariners pressured the Lions in the first inning, and had the bases loaded, but a strikeout ended the inning and Lynden was able to pour it on from the fourth inning on. Campbell Nolte and Lincoln Van Diest each picked up a pair of hits, and Van Diest also grabbed his first victory of the season on the mound in relief. Duke Ohligschlager led the Lions with three runs batted in, while Cade Slayton and Case Zweegman each scored three runs.

The Bayhawks got off to a hot start in the bottom of the first inning, scoring five runs, which was highlighted by a base-clearing triple by sophomore right fielder Joe Toof, but the Tigers answered back with six runs in the following inning. Along with Toof, Logan Steeves, Landon Kerzman and Jake Troost each had a pair of hits for Bellingham, but walks and errors allowed Burlington-Edison to have big innings.
