THE FEATURED FOUR
Liam Poulton-Claypool – Senior – Kicker/Defensive End
He started his sophomore year at safety, was moved to outside linebacker last season and now he’s going to star at defensive end. A true defensive stalwart over the years that has a knack for making big plays. An energetic player that will thrive in any situation on the field. He could be used in numerous roles offensively this season.
Logan Steeves – Senior – Running Back/Outside Linebacker
An injury took away most of his junior season, but he’s looking to have a strong senior campaign. A powerful back that runs with an anger, but still has good moves and speed. Also, a great outside linebacker that is an aggressive tackler. One of the best coverage linebackers in the county as well.
Max Rasset – Senior – Quarterback
One of only three returning starting quarterbacks in the county, which could be truly beneficial for this young team. A leader, and a true QB. He’s overcoming an offseason injury, and may not be ready for week one.
Alex Wells – Senior – Quarterback/Tight End/Outside Linebacker
If Rasset can’t go at QB to start the season, it could be Wells, a transfer from Squalicum. A great overall athlete that can do everything very well. If not at quarterback, you’ll see him catching passes from a stretch tight end spot. Another great linebacker, and great leader on defense, which will likely carry the Bayhawks early in the season.
Who will be Bellingham’s break out player?
Tyler Frost – Sophomore – Running Back/Linebacker
Hasn’t played a ton of football, but his playing has been impressive. Great size (225 lbs) for a young running back, giving Bellingham a power back in key situations. A big-time hitter on defense, and he should quickly find a linebacker spot early on.
