THE FEATURED FOUR

Larry Creasey – Senior – Running Back

On last year’s senior-dominated team, he played extremely well and was named All-Conference 1st Team at running back. A lot more could be put on his shoulders this season. Great speed, and he has that rare ability of never getting hit really hard. He could be workhorse this season, especially early on, as the rest of the Borderites get up to speed.

Riley Ihde – Junior – Wide Receiver/Cornerback

His athleticism alone should allow him to be the main target on the outside. He got a lot of playing time last season defensively, and is the team’s leading tackler among returning players. He’s the kind of player that will rarely leave the field.

Victor Gervol – Junior – Guard/Defensive Tackle

A bull in the trenches. Always stays low, plays with great leverage and has plus strength. He could eat up blockers from his defensive tackle spot, but don’t be surprised to see him break through on numerous occasions and make plays in the backfield.

Kael Evinger – Senior – Quarterback/Defensive Back

It’s his turn. After patiently waiting a few years, the senior signal caller is ready. He throws on the run with relative ease, and he has a great feel for the quarterback spot. He can unload the deep ball, but has touch on his short passes.

Who will be Blaine’s break out player?

Colby Shipp – Sophomore – Running Back/Safety

I’ve been hearing great things about this sophomore. He will give defenses a different look at running back, but his immediate impact should be made at safety. His ability to read and react will be huge for the Borderites this season.
