LYNDEN 3, NOOKSACK VALLEY 1
The Lions improved to 5-0 after a hard fought battle with the Pioneers. Lynden won the first set in a tight one, 26-24, and Nooksack Valley came back to win the second set 25-21. The Lions won another close one, 25-23 and then came away with the match after winning the fourth set 25-14. Middle hitters Kayla DeJong and Joslyn Sipma combined for 17 kills, while Ashley Shumate and Haylee Koetje totaled eight kills each. Koetje also finished with 10 digs and five aces. Grace Rice had another fantastic match with 32 assists, 13 digs and four aces. Mya VanderYacht added 14 digs, and Lucy White had 12 digs and two aces.

The Trojans got back to their winning ways after dropping a match to Lynden Christian earlier in the week by defeating the Mountaineers 25-12, 25-9 and 25-15. Jessica Pounder had seven kills win no errors, and she hit .467. Emry Claeys had a team-high 14 kills to go with three blocks. Avery Neal had five aces, four kills and 13 digs, and Hayden Claeys set up her teammates with 23 assists.
