The Storm rode a hot bottom of the fourth that saw them score nine runs in the inning, which they needed every bit of to get by the Cubs. Sedro-Woolley put across four runs in the sixth inning to make it a one-run game. Josh Kreta picked up the win in relief, while shortstop Chase Andersen had two knocks, with Elijah Knowlton and Colby Lewis each driving in a pair of runs.

After six innings of scoreless baseball the Lions erupted for 10 runs in the seventh inning. River Langstraat and Matthew Carroll led the hit parade with two apiece, while Campbell Nolte and Kael Stapleton each knocked in a pair of runs. Junior Lane Simonsen gave up just two hits and zero runs over six innings on the mound.

It appeared that the Pioneers used up all their bullets in the win over Mount Baker on Monday, and the Trojans had a lot left in the tank. Sophomore Jaeger Fyfe struck out eight batters in his shutout victory on the mound, and he also went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two more batted in. Jacob Amundson led the Trojans with four runs batted in while Hunter Jones, Jonah Aase and Tyson Timmer each scored three runs.

The Mountaineers scored seven runs in the final two innings, but couldn’t catch the victorious Borderites. Blaine was led offensively by Grady Swinburson, Axel Puls and Hunter Vezzetti who each had a pair of hits. Swinburson and catcher Evan Yates each also knocked in a pair of runs. Elijah Washburn hits two doubles for the Mountaineers while Landen Handstead had three hits and Brady West knocked in four runs, giving him nine RBI’s in the last two days.

The Lyncs took an early 3-0 lead in the third inning when Austin Engels doubled home Jonah Terpstra, Treyson Johnson knocked in Engels and Brody Bouwman scored on an error in the field. However, the Wildcats struck back for all four of their runs in the top of the sixth inning. Johnson led the Lyncs with two hits.

Lakewood 2, Bellingham 0

The Cougars scored a run in the sixth to break a scoreless tie, and tacked on another in the seventh to secure the victory. The Bayhawks got hits from Wyatt Harris and Jesse Harward, while pitcher Jake Troost performed admirably in the loss, giving up just five hits, one walk, and striking out seven in the complete game effort.

Mount Vernon 9, Ferndale 1

Senior Jake Mason and junior Dylan Moore each collected two hits for the Golden Eagles, but the Bulldogs overpowered Ferndale to a tune of 9-1. Senior pitcher Dylan Strom took his first loss of the season, but did strike out six batters in five innings of work.

Anacortes 8, Sehome 0

Freshman centerfielder Hudson Neff reached base twice for the Mariners, but that would be all of the offense contributed by Sehome as the Seahawks continued their winning ways.
