Sehome 4, Squalicum 1
The Mariners dug down deep and pulled out an extra innings victory over the crosstown rival Storm to keep their season alive. A bunt single by Sal Backman scored Ryder McGrath with one out in the top of the eighth. That was followed up by Jacob Gillig scoring on a passed ball, and Hudson Neff scoring on a single by Ben Sefrit. Gillig pitched the first seven innings, and struck out 11 batters while giving up just three hits. Carson Neff pitched the final inning to pick up his first save of the season. Sehome will battle Lynden at Volunteer Park in Anacortes on Saturday morning at 10:00 in a loser-out contest.

After splitting two regular season games with each other, the Tigers got the best of the Lions when it mattered most, to secure a spot in the 2A state tournament. The Lions are still alive; however, and will face Sehome at Volunteer Park in Anacortes on Saturday morning at 10:00 in a loser-out contest. Lynden scored both of its runs in the first inning when senior Campbell Nolte knocked in Bubba Parcher and Kael Stapleton, but was never able to obtain a lead at any time in the contest.

Sedro-Woolley 10, Bellingham 2
The Bayhawks tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the third inning when Joe Toof’s single scored Ethan Brimble, but the Cubs scored eight unanswered runs to claim the victory and but an end to Bellingham’s season. Brimble led offensively with two hits, while Toof, Wyatt Harris and Kai Nelson each reached base twice as well.

Edmonds-Woodway 10, Ferndale 0
The Golden Eagles offense never got on track, and was held hitless, as the Warriors took advantage of four Ferndale errors, and left with a big win. Senior Dylan Strom reached on a walk, but that was the only baserunner for the Golden Eagles who are still alive in the 3A playoffs and will face Monroe on the road on Thursday at 4:00.
