THURSDAY – 12/28

  • Cascade (Everett) 63, Ferndale 62

In a tightly contested game throughout, the Golden Eagles came up just a point short against the Bruins.

Sophomore forward Mantaj Singh continued is great improvement as the season has continued, as he shot 9-for-17 from the floor, 3-for-3 from the foul line and finished with a team-high 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Junior forward Jonah Brillowsky had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and junior Lincoln Thomas scored 11 points, dished out five assists and grabbed four rebounds.

 

FRIDAY – 12/29

  • Marysville-Getchell 73, Bellingham 51

The Bayhawks were down just two points at half time, but the Chargers outscored Bellingham 41-21 in the second half to take the non-conference victory.

Junior forward Kincade VanHouten led Bellingham with 14 points, with nine of them coming behind the 3-point line.

Senior forward Jesse Harward and senior guard Wyatt Stephan also contributed with 11 points each. All three players tied with the team lead by grabbing seven rebounds a piece, and Stephan also led with six assists.

 

SATURDAY – 12/30

  • Bellingham 69, Sequim 57

The Bayhawks bounced back nicely at home the following day to defeat the Wolves despite being down 36-29 at the half.

Bellingham tied the game at 48-48 at the end of the third quarter, and exploded in the fourth quarter to take the win.

VanHouten put up a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds, while senior forward Elias Togagae hustled his way towards 16 points on 7-of-8 from the floor.

Junior wing Gabe VanHofwegen put up 11 points and six assists, and Stephan finished with 10 points, six assists and five steals.
