  • Bellingham 57, Sehome 52

The Bayhawks used big first and third quarters to get out ahead of the Mariners, and then they survived a strong Sehome comeback in the fourth to take the road win.

Bellingham senior point guard Wyatt Stephan had a great overall game with 19 points, six assists and five rebounds to lead his team to victory.

Senior forward Elias Togagae had 13 points, seven rebounds and five blocks, and it was his absence in the fourth quarter, due to fouling out, that helped allow Sehome’s strong comeback late in the game.

The Mariners were led by senior center Braddock Duckworth who was 6-of-9 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line to total 18 points.

  • Burlington-Edison 53, Squalicum 39

The Storm got off to a hot start on the road, and led 13-6 after the first quarter, but the Tigers came back to tie the game at 21-21 at the half.

After playing relatively even in the third quarter, Burlington-Edison went on a 17-5 run in the fourth to snag the victory.

Squalicum guards Marcus Nixon and Hunter Calloway combined to scored 30 of their team’s 39 points, and junior forward Jaxon Hofer pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Storm

  • Oak Harbor 63, Mount Baker 49

The Mountaineers were outscored in each quarter, but it was the 17-6 run in the third quarter by the Wildcats that really did Mount Baker in.

The undermanned Mounties, who were down both point guards due to illness, were led by sophomore forward Cole Lukes who had 11 points and eight rebounds.

Freshman center Kell Reardon had another big night in the paint as he pulled down 16 rebounds and blocked three shots.
