Defensively, the Lions held the Pioneers to less than 10 points scored in each quarter.
Nooksack Valley was led in scoring by junior point guard Caden Heutink with 10 points and junior forward Tristan Kamphouse who finished with eight points.

The Golden Eagles played well enough to win, in fact it may have been the best game they played all year, but they just couldn’t outlast the visiting Cubs.
Sophomore forward Mantaj Singh shot 9-for-16 from the floor and finished with a team-high 23 points.
Junior forward Jonah Brillowsky scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while senior guard Bhavnoor Grewal finished with 11 points and five boards.
Senior point guard Bishop Ootsey gave out nine assists.
