  • Sehome 52, Sedro-Woolley 47 (OT)

The Cubs came back from five down in the fourth quarter to tie the game and send it into overtime, but the Mariners outscored Sedro-Woolley 9-4 in the extra period to take the home conference win.

Playing without senior center Braddock Duckworth, Sehome relied on a unified effort from the rest of the team, and with four players scoring in double digits, it worked well.

Freshman guard Quincy Tanovan led the way with 14 points, and he came to those numbers in an unusual way for him. As one of the main spot-up three-point shooters on the team, he usually collects his points from beyond the arc, but in this instance, all of his points came from inside the line and at the foul line.

Senior wing Austin McKay scored 11 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists and sophomore forward Cole Turrell had a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.

Sophomore point guard Nolan Wright scored 10 points, to go along with his team-high six assists. He also had five rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
