Lynden Christian 69, King’s 57
In a rematch of the last two state championship games, the Lyncs went on the road and came away with the victory.
Senior guard Dawson Bouma used his quickness and pull-up jump shot to lead his team with 29 points, going 12-of-19 from the field.
Junior guard Gannon Dykstra contributed 16 points to go along with his team-high six assists, and senior Treven Blair scored seven points.

Archbishop Murphy 59, Blaine 46
The Borderites started out strong in their home opener, and led 26-24 at halftime, but a 26-8 run in the third quarter by the Wildcats allowed Archbishop Murphy to run away with the win.
Senior forward Conner Dalry led Blaine 13 points, while Noah Tavis and Josiah Weeda each scored 11 points.
Tavis also led the Borderites with eight rebounds and four assists.

Marysville-Getchell 57, Ferndale 40
The Chargers got out of the gate fast, and held a 31-16 lead at halftime, but the Golden Eagles played them pretty even the rest of the way through.
Junior forward Jonah Brillowsky came off the bench to lead Ferndale in scoring with 12 points, while also posting eight rebounds and three assists on 6-of-11 shooting.
Sophomore guard Mantaj Singh added 10 points and six rebounds for the Golden Eagles.
Senior Kevin Woods showed a lot of hustle by grabbing 13 rebounds, while senior Bhavnoor Grewal did the same by posting four steals.
