Playing on back-to-back nights, junior point guard Caden Heutink still had the endurance to play all 32 minutes, score 26 points, and lead his team to another victory.

Two of his biggest shots came in the second half, both on 3-pointers that he made to break ties, once in the third quarter and once in the fourth quarter.

6-foot-5 junior Tristan Kamphouse also came off the bench to help ignite the Pioneers with his nine points and three rebounds.

Junior center Brady Ackerman finished with nine points, seven rebounds and three assists despite missing most of the first half due to foul trouble, and junior forward Colton Lentz had a team-high 11 rebounds.

  • Mount Vernon 88, Mount Baker 43

The Bulldogs looked very strong at home at the hands of the visiting Mountaineers.

Junior guard Christopher Armbright hit a trio of three-pointers in the third quarter, and led Mount Baker with nine points.

Junior forward Braedon Scott and sophomore guard Carter Hill each hit a three-pointer, and each finished with seven points.
