  • Sehome 63, Bellingham 24

A swarming defense and an overwhelming shooting performance by the Mariners gave them their fifth win of the young season.

Senior Emmy Hart proved to be the biggest “3-and-D” star for Sehome as she made eight of her 13 attempts from beyond the arc, and she also finished with eight steals. Her 26 points led all scorers.

Senior Natalie Brewer scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while senior Madi Cooper finished with 10 points, six assists, six steals, five rebounds and three blocked shots.

Sophomore Lilyauna Jude led Bellingham with eight points, and sophomore Mary Lockhart finished with seven points and eight rebounds.

  • Burlington-Edison 53, Squalicum 36

The Storm outscored the Tigers in the third quarter, but that would be the only quarter as the Burlington-Edison inside game proved to be too much.

Squalicum senior guard Mari Binning finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, five steals and three assists, all of which led her team.

Forwards Loretta Murphy-Kangas and Caitlyn Richardson each scored five points for the Storm.
