Meridian 45, Mount Baker 35
It was an 8-8 tie between the Trojans and Mountaineers after the first quarter of play. And while the Trojans managed to create some separation in the second quarter, they went to the half with only a two-point lead.
Meridian added another two points to their lead in the third before outscoring Mount Baker 12-6 in the fourth to cement the win.
Leading the scoring for the Trojans was senior guard Allie Richter with 15 points and freshman Maddy Swanson with 10 points.
For the Mountaineers, sophomore guard Natalie VanLiew totaled 16 points, and senior forward Jenna Wineinger scored 14 points.

Lynden 81, Sedro-Woolley 15
The Lions led 48-9 at the half, and for the most part, continued that pace the rest of the way.
Lynden forced 23 turnovers, and made 53% of its shots from the field.
It was a balanced scoring attack that saw freshman Finley Parcher lead with 16 points. She was followed closely by sophomore Payton Mills who had 11, as well as Haylee Koetje and Kiki York who each finished with 10.
Mills also grabbed 10 rebounds, while York gave out five assists and Parcher led with five steals.

Ferndale 65, Bellingham 28
A 20-5 run by the Golden Eagles in the second quarter propelled Ferndale to a 34-15 lead at the half.
A big part of that was the 23 points, 15 rebounds and four steals by sophomore forward Jillea Fox.
Senior forward Mallory Butenschoen also had a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds, while sophomore guard Kayla Washington drained three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points.
The Bayhawks were led by junior guard Malia Hanks who had 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Nooksack Valley 78, Blaine 30
The firepower of the Pioneers proved to be too much for the Borderites, who were only able to suit up seven players.
Senior guard Devin Coppinger scored 18 points, and finished with seven steals, six rebounds and four assists, all of which led her team.
Senior forward Tana Hoekema scored 13 points, and senior forward Lainey Kimball wasn’t far off with 12 points.
Blaine was led by seniors Deja Dube and Jordyn Vezzetti who scored 13 and 11 points, respectively.
