  • Blaine 53, Bellingham 30

The Borderites held a 22-16 lead at the half, but really poured it on in the second half when they outscored the Bayhawks 31-14.

Blaine freshman Teia Dube shot 9-of-16 from the field and led her team with 19 points. She also grabbed eight rebounds and three steals, while senior Jordyn Vezzetti nailed a trio of three-pointers and finished with 17 points, six rebounds, six steals and a blocked shot.

Senior Deja Dube stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, team-highs of nine rebounds and five assists, and also had two steals and a pair of blocks.

Bellingham sophomore Alexyce Evans came off the bench to lead her team in scoring with 12 points, as she was 2-of-5 from downtown. Junior Malia Hanks had seven points, four assists and three steals, while sophomore Mary Lockhart had six rebounds and four points.

  • Ferndale 65, Lakewood 56

The Golden Eagles were down 44-42 entering the final quarter, but erupted for 23 points to close out the game and pick up the road victory.

Sophomore guard Kayla Washington led the way with 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. She also connected on 4-of-6 from beyond the three-point line. Senior guard Maleah Singson also hit four 3-pointers, and she finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Senior Mallory Butenschoen started slow, missing her first 10 attempts from the field and had just one point entering the fourth quarter, but she scored 10 points in the final period, and also took two charges to help her team come back and get the win.

Sophomore forward Jillea Fox fought hard down low and picked up the double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

  • Burlington-Edison 49, Lynden Christian 47

The Tigers hit two free throws with 11.8 seconds to go in the game to take the lead on Tuesday night.

The Lyncs were then charged with an offensive control foul, and had to turn the ball back over to Burlington-Edison. The Tigers then hit one of the two next foul shots with less than two seconds left to secure the victory.

Sophomore Ella Fritts led Lynden Christian offensively with 16 points while Allison Shumate added nine points.
