The Bayhawks took control early to win the first set, 25-14, and then went on to win the next two with the identical score of 25-10.
Senior setter Meysha Riviere dished out 30 assists with benefited Chayse Flick-Williams (13 kills), Jayda Knutsen (11 kills) and Catherine Chen (six kills).
Sophomore Mary Lockhart had three kills and a team-high three blocks at the net. Chen added three aces, while Flick-Williams and Riviere each had five digs.
LYNDEN CHRISTIAN 3, MOUNT VERNON CHRISTIAN 0
The Lyncs were strong at home against the visiting Hurricanes, and they won 25-15, 25-21 and 25-16.
The strong serving by juniors Audrey Ellingboe and Malia Johnson helped lead the way as they each had five aces, and they also combined for 19 digs.
Sophomore Ella Fritts had 20 assists, three kills and two blocks, while senior Tabby DeJong had four kills and two blocks.
OAK HARBOR 3, NOOKSACK VALLEY 1
The Wildcats won the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-21, but the Pioneers came back to win the third set 25-17, but ultimately fell in the fourth, 25-22.
A double-double by senior Lainey Kimball (11 kills and 17 digs) as well as a strong overall match by senior Tana Hoekema (nine kills, three aces, three digs and two blocks) was nearly enough on the road against a strong Oak Harbor team.
Nooksack Valley also got huge performances by sophomore Grace DeHoog who had 10 kills and three digs, sophomore Payton Bartl who had 28 assists, six digs, five aces and two kills, as well as senior Juliana Gimmaka and sophomore Avery Juergens who combined for 31 digs.
LAKEWOOD 3, BLAINE 0
The Cougars bested the Borderites in three close sets, 25-21, 25-20 and 25-21.
Blaine was led by senior Teya Zaddack who finished with 10 kills, 21 digs and a pair of aces, while junior Kaitlyn Harrington had six kills, 14 assists, three aces and a block.
Junior Brie Smith dug out 13 and senior Bella Vezzetti had 11 assists, seven digs and three kills.
