NOOKSACK VALLEY 3, LYNDEN CHRISTIAN 1
The Pioneers won the first two sets 25-11 and 25-19, but the Lyncs came back to win the third set 27-25 before Nooksack Valley ended it with a 25-19 win in the fourth.
Senior Lainey Kimball led the Pioneers with a double-double (17 kills and 18 digs) to go along with her four aces. Sophomore setter Payton Bartl gave out 27 assists and erupted defensively with six blocks and eight digs.
Senior Tana Hoekema was all over the court with nine kills, eight digs, two blocks and an ace, while senior Juliana Gimmaka dug out 12 and senior Cailyn Likkel served up six aces.
The Lyncs were led by the 14 kills and four aces by junior Malia Johnson. Sophomore Ella Fritts totaled 27 assists and junior Audrey Ellingboe had 21 digs.
MERIDIAN 3, MOUNT VERNON 0
The Trojans quickly got back into the win column by defeating the Bulldogs 25-20, 25-12 and 25-11.
Freshman Eden Bernardy had eight kills to go along with her eight aces, while senior Emry Claeys racked up 20 kills and eight digs.
Junior Rylan Bernardy dug out 17 while posting six aces at the service line and junior setter Grace Wells dished out 31 assists and had a pair of aces.
BURLINGTON-EDISON 3, MOUNT BAKER 0
The undefeated Tigers took care of business by beating the Mountaineers in three straight sets.
Mount Baker was led by six digs from junior Dakota Jimmie, as well as junior Annalee Cohn who had two assists, two digs and a kill.
