Lynden 12, Meridian 1
The Lions put together three explosive innings early on as they racked up 12 hits and 12 runs on their way to the road victory. Senior Cooper Moore and sophomore Matthew Carroll each hit homeruns for Lynden, which also got doubles from senior Kael Stapleton and junior Tristan Thomas. Senior Lane Simonsen drove in three runs and Stapleton struck out seven batters in his complete game victory. Trojan senior Silas Berschauer led his team’s offense with two hits including a solo homerun, and freshman Nate Payne also finished with two hits.

Nooksack Valley 11, Lakewood 10
In one of the most exciting games of the season it was sophomore Evan Brown who hit a deep fly ball to score senior Kasey Newton on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning to get the walk-off win. The lead changed times multiple times throughout the contest, including a five-run bottom of the fifth inning which gave the Pioneers a 7-4 lead. Both teams scored in the sixth inning, and the Cougars scored three more in the top of the seventh to take the lead. Junior Cole Bauman doubled to lead off the bottom of the seventh, and Brown singled to score the tying run, but Lakewood was able to get three quick outs to send it into to extra innings. The Cougars scored in the top of the eighth to take the lead once again, but junior Colby Martin’s single in the bottom of the eighth scored senior Eddy Cerda to tie the game up, which led to Brown’s heroics two batters later.

The Lyncs started out with a bang in the first inning when junior Austin Engels connected on his third homerun of the season, but the Bayhawks rallied with an 8-run top of the third to take the commanding lead. Lynden Christian kept swinging a hot bat, and clipped away at the deficit throughout the game, but fell two runs short in the bottom of the seventh inning. Bellingham sophomore Kai Nelson belted two doubles and picked up his third win of the season, while Joe Harward and Eric Helfield each had two hits. Engels finished with three hits and three runs batted in, while sophomore Eli Maberry had three hits and scored three runs to lead the Lyncs.

Little was done to stop Golden Eagle senior Camden Raymond as the powerful lefty belted four hits, including a deep homerun to right field, and drove in six runs to lead Ferndale to victory on the road. Junior Rand Dobbins also picked up four hits, scored three runs and stole two bases which set the table from the bottom of the lineup, and Nolan Boleak picked up his first varsity victory on the same mound where is dad racked up wins 25 years ago. The Mountaineers were led offensively by senior Braven Nason who had two doubles, scored two runs, knocked in a run and stole a base.

Burlington-Edison 2, Sehome 1
The Mariners did all they could, but suffered their third 1-run loss of the week against the Tigers. Freshman outfielder Gunnar Anderson tripled in the top of the seventh inning and later scored on a balk to tie the game up, but Burlington-Edison was able to score the game-winning run in the bottom of the inning. Junior pitcher Ryder McGrath struck out 10 batters and allowed just two hits while pitching the complete game for Sehome.

Blaine 9, Squalicum 5
The game was tied at 4-4 after four innings, but the Borderite bats stayed hot just and the Storm bats cooled off as Blaine picked up the road win. The Borderites got multiple hits from seniors Mason Akre and Deon Bowman, junior Evan Yates and freshman Aaron Garza, and senior Diego Gutierrez scattered six hits in his complete game performance on the mound. Squalicum was led by senior Dylan Johnson who knocked a pair of doubles, senior Josh Kreta who drive in two runs and freshman Eljas Lara who finished with a single and a double.
