Lynden 2, Oak Harbor 1
Offense was tough to come by as the Lions managed just two hits, but scored two runs to squeak past the Wildcats. Senior leadoff hitter Kael Stapleton stole three bases, scored both runs and also struck out 10 batters in his six innings on the mound. Sophomore Matthew Carroll pitched the final inning to grab his Whatcom County leading fourth save of the season.

Ferndale 8, Lakewood 6
The Golden Eagles were down 6-5 going into the final inning, but a single by sophomore Braylon O’Breen scored junior Rand Dobbins and that was followed up by a two-run double by senior Camden Raymond which gave Ferndale the lead. Sophomore pitcher Nolan Boleak scattered six hits in his five-plus innings of work, and junior pitcher Bryce Manibusan got the final four outs of the game in relief to pick up his first varsity win. O’Breen led Ferndale with three hits, and sophomore Fenton Vasak kept his bat hot with a double and a triple.

The Trojans scored all five of their runs over the first three innings, which included a solo homerun from senior second baseman Jacob Amundson, and they went on to ride the right arm of Ian Forbes throughout the rest of the game as the senior pitcher needed just 77 pitches to complete the game and pick up his second victory of the season. Amundson led the team with two hits, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Nooksack Valley 8, Sedro-Woolley 2
The Pioneer offense caught fire in the bottom of the fourth when it scored five runs, and would then score three runs in the following inning, as Nooksack Valley grabbed a huge win over the Cubs. Sophomore pitcher Evan Brown had his best outing of the season as he gave up just four hits and struck out four batters while pitching the complete game. Senior Kasey Newton led the offense with three hits, while seniors Jesse Tresselt and Eddy Cerda each knocked in a pair of runs.

Sehome 7, Squalicum 0
Mariner sophomore Hudson Neff spun a gem as he struck out eight batters and gave up just two hits in his shutout performance against the Storm. The Sehome offense also scored in almost every inning and was led by Ryder McGrath’s two hits, Gunnar Tweit’s two runs scored and Keegan Glennon’s three runs batted in. Both of Squalicum’s hits came off the bat of sophomore catcher Henry Ingersoll.

Borderite senior Alejandro Moser-Hernandez drove in all four of his team’s runs with two singles and a homerun to lead Blaine past the Bayhawks. The Borderites also got a pair of hits from Mason Akre and Diego Gutierrez, as the senior duo also combined to pitch the entire game, with Gutierrez picking up his fifth win of the season and Akre grabbing his second save of the week. Bellingham scored in the top of the fourth inning when senior Jesse Harward doubled home senior Joe Toof.

The Tigers scored on a passed ball with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to take the home victory over the Lyncs. Lynden Christian senior Brody Bouwman tripled home Eli Maberry and Austin Engels in the top of the sixth inning to tie the game at 2-2. The Lyncs also got a pair of hits from junior Jayden Huleatt and sophomore Sam Kok.

The top-ranked Bulldogs proved to be too much as they overpowered the Mountaineers in the shortened contest. Mount Baker senior Braven Nason doubled and stole a base, while Magnus Melland and Tyson Rightmire also reached with bases on balls.
