Sehome 3, Sedro-Woolley 2

Despite being down 2-0 after four innings, Sehome coach Dane Siegfried stayed with his starter Ryder McGrath, and it paid off in big ways. The Mariners scored three runs over the following two innings and McGrath struck out nine batters as he pitched the complete game. Sehome got hits from Hudson Neff, Keegan Glennon and Gunnar Anderson.

Nooksack Valley 14, Friday Harbor 0

The Pioneer offense was on top of its game as it scored in every inning before shutting out the Wolverines 14-0. Kasey Newton hit a single and a triple, and drove in two runs for the victors, while Evan Brown also picked up two hits and Jesse Tresselt scored three runs. Eddy Cerda threw three innings of no-hit ball, and struck out four batters to pick up his first win of the season.

Chief Sealth 6, Bellingham 0

The Bayhawks reached base eight times but were never able to come around to score as they were shut out by the Seahawks. Bellingham got hits from Kai Nelson, Jake Troost, Joe Toof and Joe Harward. Nelson also struck out two batters over four and 1/3 innings on the mound.

Blaine 3, Granite Falls 0

Baserunners were hard to come by, but the Borderites were able to push across all three of their runs in the bottom of the fifth inning when catcher Evan Yates hit a double to score Kai Kerwin, and that was followed up by a Deon Bowman single that scored Jesse Deming and Brady Dohner, who went in to run for Yates. Alejandro Moser-Hernandez gave up just two hits and struck out 10 batters, but was given the non-decision as the game was still scoreless when he was replaced on the mound. Diego Guttierez picked up the win in relief, his second of the season.

Cedar Park Christian 4, Lynden Christian 2

The Eagles scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie, and although the Lyncs scored again in the top of the seventh, that would be their final run. Sophomore short stop Eli Maberry singled and doubled to lead his team offensively, and senior Jonah Terpstra went the distance on the mound as he scattered six hits and struck out two.

Overlake/Bear Creek 3, Sehome 2

The Mariners nearly picked up their second win of the day, but the Growls scored three runs in the first inning and that proved to be just enough. Ryder McGrath went 2-for-3 and stole three bases to lead Sehome offensively, and Hudson Neff scored both of the Mariners’ runs after being hit by a pitch twice and stealing two bases. Keegan Glennon struck out three batters over four innings of work.

Lynden 10, W.F. West 7

Kael Stapleton racked up three hits and Spencer Adams knocked in three runs as the Lions defeated the Bearcats in the Southwest Washington 2A Invitational Tournament Championship. Lynden broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the fifth by scoring four runs. Matthew Carroll also drove in two runs while Stapleton, Gordy Bedlington and Tristan Thomas each scored twice. Sophomore Gavin Guttormson pitched four innings in relief to pick up his first varsity victory.
