Gu. Dykstra

The Lyncs shot 54% from the floor, and are continually proving to be one of the best 1A teams in the state as they defeated the Bulldogs at home.

Senior guard Gannon Dykstra enjoyed another amazing performance as he shot 11-for-19 to finish with 30 points, along with nine rebounds and four steals.

He was aided in the back court by brother Gunnar Dykstra who dished out nine assists, and also scored 17 points.

Sophomore forward Kaden Veldman added 16 points, while junior Boyce Robertson (10 points) and senior Luke VanKooten (nine points) rounded out the starting lineup.

Junior guard Eli Maberry came off the bench to score nine points.

The Blackhawks showed the true meaning of team basketball as they combined for 22 assists on their 30 made shots from the field, with all nine players scoring at least five points on their way to another victory.

Lummi Nation began the game on a 15-0 run, which was led by senior forward Tony Abrams. He finished with a team-high 12 points along with four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Sophomore center DeAndre James came off the bench to score 11 points on 5-of-10 from the field, and sophomore guard Dyson Edwards finished with nine points and six assists.

Junior point guard Jerome Toby dished out eight assists, while he, Landon LaFontaine, Rayshawn Bob and Karson Revey each finished with eight points.

Kamphouse

The Pioneers remained undefeated on the young season by nearly doubling up the Tigers at home.

Senior point guard Caden Heutink led Nooksack Valley with 15 points, 12 of which he scored in the first half alone.

6-foot-6 senior forward Tristan Kamphouse added 12 points, and senior center Brady Ackerman continued his dominance inside with 10 points first-half points.

The Lions went on a 17-6 run in the second quarter to extend their lead to 18 points by the half.

Senior forward Brant Heppner scored 22 points for the second consecutive game, while adding five points and five rebounds.

Sophomore point guard Gordy Bedlington shot 6-for-10 from the field for 13 points, and he also led his team with eight assists and four steals. Senior forwards Ty Jorgenson and Spencer Adams each added 12 points for Lynden.
