Heutink

Tristan Kamphouse’s corner three ball nearly tied the game at the end of regulation, but it ironed out before Brady Ackerman tapped it in as the Pioneers lost by a single point on the road to the Cougars.

In a game that saw multiple lead changes, it was pretty obvious the game would come down to the final possession.

Senior point guard Caden Heutink connected on 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, and he finished with a team-high 27 points to lead Nooksack Valley.

Junior guard Cole Coppinger had 12 points and four assists, and senior guard Cory Olney added nine points, six rebounds and six assists.
