Lynden 52, Squalicum 34
The Lynden boys ended the first quarter with a 12-0 run to take a 16-5 lead going into the second quarter. Junior forward Ty Jorgensen all six of his points in the second to help maintain the Lion’s lead going into halftime.
The Storm kept pace with the Lions in the second half, putting up 20 points to Lynden’s 23 points.
Lynden was led in scoring by senior forwards Brant Heppner and Jack Stapleton, scoring 18 and 10 points respectively. Junior forward Spencer Adams attributed eight points to the Lions total, including hit 2-of-4 from deep.
For Squalicum, sophomore guard Hunter Calloway led the offense with his 11 points. Senior guard Marcus Nixon accounted for seven points, five steals and four assists, and senior forward Jaxon Hofer finished with six points on a pair of three-balls.

Meridian 72, Burlington-Edison 60
After playing evenly through three quarters, the Trojans finished incredibly strong to take the 12-point win at home.
Senior forward Talon Jenkins scored 25 points on 8-of-13 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line, and senior guard Jaeger Fyfe put in 17 points along with team-highs in rebounds (8) and assists (4).
Senior center James Hedahl also enjoyed his best career varsity game as he shot 8-for-12 from the field, scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Sophomore guard Trey Alexander came off the bench to spark Meridian with eight points.

Lynden Christian 63, Sedro-Woolley 48
The Lyncs found themselves in an unfamiliar spot after one quarter, down by two points.
It wouldn’t last long though, as Lynden Christian took the lead in the second quarter, and continually pulled away throughout the remainder of the contest.
Sophomore forward Kaden Veldman muscled his way to 12 points and 16 rebounds for the Lyncs, and senior guard Gannon Dykstra did a little bit of everything with 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
Senior forward Luke VanKooten and sophomore guard Gunnar Dykstra added 13 points each.

Lummi Nation 76, Lopez 29
If a high school player averages 13 points, five assists and three steals per game, you’re looking at an all-league player. Junior point guard Jerome Toby put those numbers up in the first quarter alone as the Blackhawks remained undefeated on the season.
The Lummi Nation offense was on fire to start the game, and made its first seven hots, four of which were from beyond the arc, and started the game up 16-0.
Toby finished with 21 points, eight steals and eight assists while shooting 8-for-17 from the field, including 5-of-10 on three pointers.
Sophomore guard Dyson Edwards added 18 points, and senior forward Trevon Lee had nine points and 10 rebounds.
