The Bayhawks took a five-point lead in the second quarter, and that proved to be there difference of the game as Bellingham took the home win against the upstart Mountaineers.

The second quarter surge by the Bayhawks was led by sophomore Calvin VanHofwegen who came off the bench to nail a trio of three-pointers. He finished the game with a career-high 15 points.

Former Mountaineer Joe Harward also scored 15 points for Bellingham, and he also pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds.

Reardon

Senior forward Kincade VanHouten also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Mount Baker sophomore center Kell Reardon finished with 17 points and nine rebounds, and he shot 7-of-9 from the field.

Junior guard Carter Hill added 12 points for the Mountaineers, all of which came from behind the three-point line.
