The Trojans won their first round game of the Trojan Storm Classic Tournament after a close first quarter.

Both teams shot extremely well early on, and the game was tied at 19-19 going into the second quarter. That was when Meridian began to pull away.

Senior forward Talon Jenkins led the way with 19 points and senior guard Jaeger Fyfe added 15 points.

Senior center James Hedahl and junior guard Matthew Blankenburg each came off the bench to score nine points.

VanHouten

In this tightly contested matchup at the Trojan Storm Classic, both teams traded leads after each quarter, and the Owls finished the job at the end.

Senior forward Kincade VanHouten had another double-double, this time with 13 points and 14 rebounds, and junior forward Joe Harward added 14 points, six assists, four rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

Senior guard Harmon Wienkers buried a pair of three-pointers and finished with eight points, and sophomore guard Calvin VanHofwegen came off the bench to score eight points.
