The inside play of the Lions was a big part of picking up the win, as Lynden outrebounded the Greyhounds 40-28.
Senior forward Brant Heppner led the way with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while shooting 7-of-16 from the field.
Junior forward Spencer Adams added 10 points and seven rebounds, and he shot 5-for-6 from the foul line.
Sophomore guard Malachi Koenen scored seven points, and fellow sophomore guard Gordy Bedlington dished out six assists.

The Trojans jumped out to a 40-16 lead at the half, and held off the Tiger comeback in the second half to grab the tournament victory at home.
It was the two-headed senior monster of Talon Jenkins and Jaeger Fyfe once again, as both players finished 23 points each.
Jenkins shot 8-for-16 from the floor, and also had 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Fyfe was 10-of-18 from the floor, and he finished finished with eight rebounds, six assists and four steals.
Senior center James Hedahl had 10 points and seven rebounds, and junior forward Daniel Larsen came off the bench to score seven points.

Unlike last year’s thriller between these two teams, the Lyncs won a little more handedly this time around.
Senior guard, and Whatcom County’s leading scorer, Gannon Dykstra shot 11-of-18 from the floor and finished with 24 points to lead Lynden Christian.
Sophomore guard Dawson Hintz had 13 points and four steals, and sophomore forward Kaden Veldman powered his way to another double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while also blocking three shots.

The deep ball was clicking as the Storm outshot the Timberwolves in the win.

Sophomore guard Hunter Calloway collected a team-high 26 points, and senior guard Marcus Nixon followed with 17 points.

The Mariners cut the lead to eight points in the third quarter, but just wasn’t able to overcome the size of the Bulldogs.
Junior forward Xavier Kelley led Sehome with 15 points, and he was followed by junior point guard Nolan Wright who finished with 12 points.
Sophomore guard Quincy Tanovan added six points, and the Mariners collectively made 6-of-8 from the foul line.
