The suffocating Lion defense held the Panthers to just three points in the third quarter, which allowed Lynden to extend its advantage and pick up the win.
Senior forward Brant Heppner nearly scored half of his team’s points as he finished with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting. He also led the Lions with 12 rebounds and five assists.
Sophomore guard Malachi Koenen added six points on a pair of three pointers, and junior forward Spencer Adams grabbed nine rebounds.

The Mariners got off to a fast start, and led 26-11 at the half, and then stayed the course to grab the victory.
Junior forward Xavier Kelley led Sehome in each of the first three quarters, and finished with a team-high 16 points.
Sharpshooting guards Klay Jackson and Quincy Tanovan each had a pair of three pointers in the first half, and junior point guard Nolan Wright finished with 10 points.

Kamiak 66, Meridian 54
The Trojans went cold in the second quarter, and the Knights got hot in the third quarter, and that is what ultimately did Meridian in at the Trojan Storm Classic Tournament Championship Game.
Uncharacteristically, Meridian was only able to sink four of its 22 three-point attempts.
Senior Talon Jenkins and James Hedahl each scored 17 points to lead the Trojans. Jenkins added eight rebounds, four assists and was a perfect 7-for-7 from the foul line. Hedahl hit seven of his 10 attempts from the field.
Senior guard Jaeger Fyfe had seven points, five rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.

It was Dykstra from downtown as brothers Gannon and Gunnar combined to hit seven of their 15 three-point attempts as the Lyncs took the victory.
Senior Gannon Dykstra led Lynden Christian with 25 points and six assists, and sophomore Gunnar Dykstra scored 19 points, and was a perfect 8-for-8 inside the three-point line as well.
Sophomore forward Kaden Veldman added 14 points and nine rebounds on 6-of-7 shooting.

It was a 36-36 tie after three quarters of play, but timely shooting by sophomore guard Hunter Calloway and the defense and rebounding by senior guard Ty Hoffmann allowed the Storm to come out on top.
Calloway led Squalicum with 17 points, seven of which came in the final quarter.
Senior guard Marcus Nixon finished with 10 points, while senior forward Ezra Nichols had nine points and senior forward Jaxon Hofer added eight points.

Junior forward Joe Harward had 14 points, 12 rebounds and five steals, and senior forward Gabe VanHofwegen added 14 points, including a pair of three pointers.
