Toby

It was all Blackhawks in their non-conference game at home against the Mariners, as they shot 50% from the field and 47.4% from the 3-point line to cruise to victory.

Junior point guard Jerome Toby scored 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting, which included three deep balls. He was aided by sophomore guard Dyson Edwards who finished with 15 points, as well as team-highs in assists with six and steals with three.

Kelley

Senior forward Tony Abrams led Lummi Nation in the paint with nine points and eight rebounds.

Sehome was led in scoring by junior forward Xavier Kelley who had 11 points, and sophomore guard Quincy Tanovan who had 10 points.

The Mariners shot 13-of-50 from the field, and 4-of-13 from the foul line.

Fyfe

The Trojans overwhelmed the Hurricanes on the road, and it was a complete team effort.

Meridian shot a scorching 63% from the field, and 47.4% from beyond the arc, with senior guard Jaeger Fyfe leading the way with 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting. He also made five of his nine 3-point attempts and had five assists.

Sophomore forward Nate Payne added 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting, and senior forward Talon Jenkins contributed with nine points, a team-high seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Junior forward Mantaj Singh connected on four 3-pointers and scored 19 points, but it wasn’t enough on the road against a very good Warrior team.

Senior forward Jonah Brillowsky scored 16 points for the Golden Eagles who fell to 1-2 on the season.
