Offensive rebounding by Lynden Christian prevailed as the Lyncs came back from being down five points halfway through the third quarter to win the district championship.
Forward Jeremiah Wright scored 13 of his game-high 30 points in the third quarter to help LC take the lead which was never relinquished. The 6-foot-5 senior made 9-of-14 from the field and 11-of-15 from the line, and also grabbed eight rebounds.
He was aided by the 12 points of senior guard Dawson Bouma and the 11 rebounds from senior forward Kayden Stuit.
Meridian was led by junior guard Talon Jenkins who finished with 22 points, three assists and three steals. Junior guard Jaeger Fyfe added 16 points, four assists and three rebounds.

Nooksack Valley 66, Mount Baker 47
The Pioneers pulled down 23 offensive rebounds, which gave them 26 more field goal attempts than the Mountaineers, and that was all that was needed for Nooksack Valley to be successful in the district tournament loser-out contest.
Junior center Brady Ackerman had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and junior forward Colton Lentz finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Pioneers.
Junior point guard Caden Heutink added 11 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Nooksack Valley.
The youthful Mounties saw their season come to a close, and they were led by junior forward Darius Gilstrap who had 18 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Sophomore guard Carter Hill had eight points and three assists, while junior forward Luke Smith finished with seven points and three assists, and freshman center Kell Reardon added seven points and five blocked shots.
