The in-season improvement of the Golden Eagles was on full display at home on Saturday night as they used a 14-6 run in the third quarter to help pick up the conference victory.
Junior forward Jonah Brillowsky nailed three 3-point shots at the top of the key in the second half which excited the home crowd and helped Ferndale maintain its lead.
Brillowsky finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks, and senior guard Bhavnoor Grewal had 11 points, four steals and three assists.
Junior forward Colton Lentz led Nooksack Valley with nine points and 14 rebounds, and sophomore guard Cole Coppinger came off the bench to add nine points.

Anacortes 78, Lynden Christian 66
Although the Lyncs led 35-30 at halftime, the Seahawks took the lead in the third quarter, and extended it in the fourth to give Lynden Christian its first loss of the season.
Anacortes junior Davis Fogle showed everyone was the fuss is about as he knocked down 16 of his 27 shot attempts for 43 points, while also totaling seven rebounds, four blocked shots and three assists.
Senior guard Dawson Bouma led the Lyncs with 20 points, and senior forward Jeremiah Wright picked up a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Junior guard Gannon Dykstra added 16 points and seven assists while senior forward Kayden Stuit had 12 points and five rebounds.

Sedro-Woolley 47, Sehome 38
The Mariners were down just one point at the half, but scored just three points in the entire third quarter and couldn’t climb back in the fourth period on the road.
Senior forward Austin McKay led Sehome with nine points, and he also racked up six rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals.
Senior center Braddock Duckworth and sophomore point guard Nolan Wright each scored eight points, with Duckworth grabbing nine rebounds and Wright added seven rebounds and seven assists.
