  • Lynden Christian 75, Lakewood 73

Senior Kayden Stuit scored just four points in the game, but they were the four most important points of the contest for the Lyncs.

The 6-foot-4 power forward hit his first shot with 1:33 left in the game on a 12-foot-jumper, which gave Lynden Christian a 73-70 lead. Both offenses stalled for the next minute of play, but the Lync crowd erupted with 14 seconds to go when Stuit took a bounce pass from junior guard Gannon Dykstra and dunked the ball with two hands to put Lynden Christian up by five.

The Cougars hit a corner three-pointer in the waning seconds, and the Lyncs, who were down after each of the first three quarters, were able to come away with the road victory.

Stuit also finished with a game-high 13 rebounds while fellow senior forward Jeremiah Wright had a huge game with 27 points and nine boards on 11-of-15 shooting from the field.

Senior guard Dawson Bouma had trouble shooting early on, but rallied in the second hand and finished with 18 points to go with his seven steals, four rebounds and three assists.

Dykstra finished with 13 points and nine assists while freshman guard Dawson Hintz came off the bench to add 11 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting.

  • Squalicum 71, Oak Harbor 50

It was a close game through the first three quarters, but the Storm outscored the Wildcats 26-6 in the final period to run away with the road win.

Stuffing the stat sheet once again was junior guard Marcus Nixon who shot 12-for-21 and finished with 26 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, four steals and two blocked shots. He led his team in all five categories.

Freshman point guard Hunter Calloway added 20 points of his own, including 15 of them coming from three-point land.

  • Sedro-Woolley 66, Mount Baker 47

The Cubs used a 27-point third quarter to vault out far ahead of the Mountaineers and help them pickup the home win.

Freshman center Kell Reardon and junior forward Darius Gilstrap each finished with double-doubles for Mount Baker.

Reardon had team-highs with 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks, while Gilstrap finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Junior forward Luke Smith added nine points and four rebounds, while sophomore guard Payten Abitia contributed with eight points.
