The Mariners held a one-point lead early in the first quarter but a 14-0 run by the Lions gave them a 20-7 advantage heading into the second quarter, which they expanded to 35-17 entering the half.
Sehome would nearly double Lynden’s scoring effort in the fourth quarter but a 21-point performance by the Lions in the third made the needed difference to keep Lynden out in front.
Over the course of the evening, 10 different Lynden players scored with four going for double digits. Senior guard Brady Elsner, and junior forward Brant Heppner, tied for most on the team with 13 points, while senior guard Anthony Canales had 11 points. Senior center Ty Holleman was the last member of the double-digit club with 10 points.
Sophomore center Cole Turrell led the Mariners in scoring with 11 points. Senior center Braddock Duckworth contributed nine points, and sophomore forward Carter Duckworth had eight points.

Lynden Christian 75, Ferndale 50
The Lyncs got off to another hot start, as they finished the first quarter with a 22-7 lead. Ball control and strong rebounding kept Lynden Christian in the lead the rest of the way.
Senior forward Kayden Stuit was incredibly efficient, as he shot 8-for-9 from the field while leading the Lyncs with 16 points and nine rebounds.
The backcourt tandem of senior Dawson Bouma and junior Gannon Dykstra was strong once again as each player scored 14 points.
Senior forward Jeremiah Wright had 12 points and seven boards while freshman guard Dawson Hintz came off the bench to score 11 points.
The Golden Eagles were led by the 16 points of junior forward Jonah Brillowsky, and the 12 points of sophomore forward Mantaj Singh.
Senior guard Bishop Ootsey added nine points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Anacortes 86, Blaine 47
The Borderites found it extremely tough to hang with the high-flying Seahawks on the road.
Anacortes led 49-28 at the half, and nearly duplicated the same output in the second half.
Blaine was led by senior forward Conner Dalry who scored 16 points. Senior forward Noah Tavis finished with 11 points, and senior guard Justin Minjarez added six points.
