  • Meridian 63, Burlington-Edison 61

A 26-point third quarter by the Trojans, aided by six 3-pointers from junior guard Talon Jenkins, helped erase a five-point deficit at halftime, and the Trojans held on in the fourth quarter to pick up the conference win at home.

Jenkins finished the game with 30 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Seniors Christian Clawson and Taran Burks contributed with 10 points each, with Clawson grabbing 11 rebounds, and Burks giving out five assists.

Junior guard Jaeger Fyfe handed out a team-high seven assists to go along with four rebounds and three steals.

  • Mount Vernon 61, Squalicum 58

The Storm played a tremendous game against the visiting, but favored, Bulldogs, and held a 31-28 lead at the half.

Mount Vernon came back to tie the game at 41-41 at the end of three quarters, and squeaked out the three-point victory.

Junior guard Marcus Nixon shot 8-of-17 from the floor, and finished with 20 points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds.

Junior forward Ezra Nichols also hit 5-of-10 shots and he tallied 11 points.

Freshman guard Hunter Calloway had 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists, and junior guard Fabian Singh came off the bench to score seven points.
