Blaine 8, Granite Falls 1

Leonardo Blanco scored three goals to lead the Borderites past the Tigers. Blaine scored four goals in the first half, and then scored the next four goals in the second half before Granite Falls got on the board in the 36th minute of the second half. Blake Koreseki scored two goals, and the Borderites also got goals from Isaiah Zuch, Dima Yuryev and Armond Gill.


Bellingham 2, Meridian 0

Judah Straight converted a penalty kick just before halftime for the Bayhawks, and Cameron Boak beat a few players before finding Carson Breatheur for a goal in the second half. Ashaan Baker picked up the shutout in goal for Bellingham.


Lynden 1, Anacortes 1

Lion freshman Malachi Koenen scored his first career varsity goal in what turned out to be the first tie of the season.


Oak Harbor 3, Lynden Christian 2

LC’s Jude Decker converted on a penalty kick to get the Lyncs on the board first, but the Wildcats tied it up at 1-1 just before halftime. Oak Harbor scored the first two goals of the second half, and Gunnar Parriera scored on a free kick late to cut the deficit to one.
