Bellingham 2, Ferndale 1
Both teams had multiple chances in the first half, but both keepers made key saves and the game was scoreless at the midway point. Golden Eagle junior midfielder Coen Braun scored on a penalty kick to give his team a lead in the second half, but the Bayhawks answered back with a goal by Sora Dionne, and with about eight minutes left in the game Judah Straight scored a goal to give Bellingham the lead. Ferndale had a few chances late in the contest, including when Phoenyx Finkbonner sent a right-footed shot toward the goal which was just tipped out by the Bayhawk goal keeper.
Nooksack Valley 3, Bear Creek 2
The Grizzlies opened the scoring early on a penalty kick, but the Pioneers struck back quickly with a goal by freshman Chris Castillo, which was assisted by fellow freshman Jose Liera, and the two teams went into halftime with a 1-1 score. Bear Creek scored first in the second half, and Castillo scored his second goal of the game, this time on a penalty kick, to tie it up. Nooksack Valley junior Tyrel Johnson then scored the game-winning goal in the closing seconds on an assist from junior Alex Flores to end the Pioneers’ three-game losing streak.
Sehome 7, Oak Harbor 1
The Mariners remained unbeaten as they picked up the conference victory on the road. Junior Liam Schumacher continued his fantastic season with a hat trick, and he was followed closely by senior Noah Allen who scored two goals. Sehome also received goals from senior Reiley Bury-Brown and junior Julian Herring.
Squalicum 7, Lakewood 1
Not only did the Storm score seven goals at home, but each one was assisted as Squalicum played tremendously unselfish and created opportunities for each other to get the conference win. Senior Simon Egner scored the first goal of the game and assisted on three others, and senior Jeff Siglin scored a goal and finished with two assists. Freshman Maddox Strickland had both a goal and an assist, while Isaac Grimes, Jeremy Renteria, Sebastian Cruz and Luis Gaspar scored goals and Axel Quiroz added an assist.
Burlington-Edison 2, Lynden 0
The Lions were unable to get any offense going on the road against the Tigers, and lost for the fifth time in the last six games.
