Sehome 3, Mount Vernon 1
The Mariners remained unbeaten as they bested the Bulldogs on the road. Sehome received goals from Liam Schumacher, Reiley Bury-Brown and Rudy Zurcher.
Ferndale 3, Lynden 2
In a back and forth affair between two rivals, Golden Eagle senior Katahdin Fasani scored the first goal of the game, which was assisted by Phoenyx Finkbonner. The Lions answered back with a goal by sophomore Lofa Tigilau. Finkbonner then scored a goal, which was assisted by Hayden DeAnnuntis and the Golden Eagles led 2-1 at the half. Midway through the second half, Lynden tied it once again, this time on a goal by junior Victor Huaracha. Ferndale then scored the eventual winning goal with 10 minutes left when Fasani scored his second goal of the game, this time on an assists from Evan Saxman.
Blaine 3, Sedro-Woolley 2
The Borderites got on the board first with a goal from Dmitry Yuryev on a free kick. Blake Koreski scored twice in second half, both on assists from Isaiah Zuch to hold off the Cubs.
Burlington-Edison 1, Lynden Christian 0
The Lyncs outshot the Tigers, but couldn’t get one in the net as Burlington-Edison held on for the close win. Keeper Johann Veltkamp played a great game for the rapidly improving Lynden Christian squad.
Lake Stevens 2, Squalicum 1
The Storm’s lone goal game on a penalty kick from Isaac Grimes, but Squalicum couldn’t close it out in the end. It was Grimes’ sixth goal of the season.
