Squalicum 5, Lynden 1
Senior forward Simon Egner scored three goals, which gives him five on the season, as he lead the Storm past the Lions at home. Squalicum also had an early goal by Cody McCalley, and one from Isaac Grimes. Lynden’s lone goal was scored by Eddy Briseno.
Mount Vernon 4, Ferndale 1
The Golden Eagles faced another tough opponent for the second night in a row, and fell to the Bulldogs. Ryder McClellan scored his first goal of the season for Ferndale.
Blaine 2, Anacortes 1
Borderite junior Blake Koreski scored a pair of goals within four minutes of each other in the first half to lead Blaine to the win. Keeper Abel Carlson-Vega stopped a Seahawk penalty kick 15 minutes into the second half before allowing a second penalty kick to score later in the game. Koreski’s goals were assisted by Dmitry Yuryev and Maxim Yuryev.
Sehome 3, Bellingham 1
In the inner city battle between two top teams, the Mariners came out on top. Sehome’s Noah Allen scored two of his team’s three goals, with the other being scored by Rudy Zurcher. The Bayhawk’s lone goal was scored by Sora Dionne.
