Borderite senior Emersyn Bakker was on top of her game on Friday as she pitched a no-hitter and struck out 10 batters in the five inning game. She also hit a double and drove in two runs on offense. Junior left fielder Brie Smith led with two hits and senior right fielder Bella Vezzetti finished with a game-high three runs batted in. Mariner sophomore pitcher Sarah Kruzich struck out four batters in three innings.

The Trojans led 2-1 after four innings of play, but then scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to break the game wide open. Senior pitcher Katie Prengaman went 4-for-4 with a homerun and two doubles in the contest while also scoring three runs and driving in three runs. She also gave up just three hits and struck out 13 batters while in the circle. Junior catcher Hailey Horsmon and sophomore left fielder Lexi Neil also had two hits each.

Taryn Hamner scored in the first inning when an error was committed in the outfield, but that would be the lone run for the Bayhawks at home against the Tigers. Laura Porter reached base twice in the game with a walk and a single, and A.J. Occhipinit struck out two batters in three innings of work.
