Junior catcher Kaelin Blakley continued to swing a hot bat as she went 4-for-4, and was a homerun away from the cycle, but it wasn’t enough as the Vikings took the non-conference win at home. Kate Johnston also had a single and two runs batted in while Talia Locker scored twice for Ferndale. Mallory Butenschoen had a hit, scored a run and struck out three batters in five innings of work in the circle.
