Nooksack Valley 20, Squalicum 5

The Pioneers went off for 11 runs in the first inning, which set the tone for the rest of the game. Nooksack Valley had five extra base hits with shortstop Shelby Mason hitting a double and a triple, and center fielder Lainey Kimball hit a homerun. Both players, along with Gracie Rutgers, each knocked in three runs, and while Mason, Alayna Dykstra and Kestyn Wagter each scored three runs. Sophomore Payton Bartl struck out five batters in four innings of work to pick up her fifth win. The Storm were led offensively by Addison Hauber who had two hits and two runs batted in, Gabi Gearhart who stole four bases and scored twice and Esther Alter who doubled and scored.

Borderite senior Emersyn Bakker did a little bit of everything as she struck out eight batters, gave up two hits, blasted two home runs, drove in four and walked three times as Blaine shut the Trojans out. The Borderites also got a homerun from senior shortstop Jordyn Vezzetti who also knocked in four runs, and sophomore Aaliyah Bowman had three hits and scored three runs. Meridian got hits from senior Kaelyn Neevel as well as juniors Natalie Schultz, Sydney TenKley and Heidi Horsmon.

Lynden 7, Mount Baker 5

Both teams scored twice in the first inning, and the Mountaineers held a 4-2 lead after four innings. The Lions quickly tied it up in the top of the fifth, and scored three more in the top of the seventh to extend their lead. Lynden senior Trinity Andrew drove in three runs and struck out six batters on the way to her 12th win of the season. Sophomore Campbell DeJong tripled, homered and knocked in two runs, and senior catcher Kasi Thomas scored twice on two hits. Mount Baker junior Annalee Cohn had two hits and scored two runs to lead the Mountie offense.

Lynden Christian 26, Anacortes 2

The Lyncs got three hits from freshman Taya Vander Kooi and senior Taryn Bos as Lynden Christian scored early and often at home against the Seahawks. Bos also drove in four runs and scored three times, and freshman Kortnee Tolsma also had four runs batted in.
