The game was tied at 5-5 after five innings, but the Wildcats broke out for four runs to close out the game, and the Trojans were unable to recover. Meridian senior Kaelyn Neevel and three hits and two runs batted in, while junior Sydney TenKley added two hits and two runs batted in.

The Storm continued to take their lumps this season against a strong Cougar team at home. Freshman shortstop Laela Staniford singled, tripled and scored a run to lead the Squalicum offense, which also got a run scored from Alexa Havens and a run batted in from Addison Hauber.
