The Borderites remained undefeated, and have yet to allow a single run in conference play after shutting out the Pioneers on the road. Seniors Jordyn Vezzetti and Emersyn Bakker each hit a homerun and combined for nine runs batted in. Senior Teya Zaddack also finished with a three hits, including a double, and three runs batted in. Bakker struck out eight batters and picked up her fifth victory of the season. Nooksack Valley got hits from Alayna Dykstra, Shelby Mason and Gracie Rutgers.

Golden Eagle junior Kaelin Blakley continued to do the unimaginable as she knocked in nine runs with hit two triples and a grand slam to lead her team past the Bayhawks on the road. Ferndale also got triples from Mallory Butenschoen and Jaycena Lajuan. Madeline Slevin, Sianna Bob and Hannah Swan each scored three runs for the Golden Eagles. Bellingham got hits from Angelina Bellefeuille, Sammy Stormo, A.J. Occhipinti and Taryn Hamner.

The Trojans scored all four of their runs in the final two innings, but was never able to come all the way back against the Tigers. Junior leadoff hitter Maddy Ritter had two hits for Meridian, while senior Katie Prengaman and junior Sydney TenKley each drove in two runs. Prengaman also struck out four batters in her complete game effort.

Offense was tough to come by against the Cubs as the Lions’ only hits came off the bat of sophomore Campbell DeJong and junior Melanie Anderson. Senior Hannah Saur also reached base after being hit by a pitch. It was Lynden’s first loss of the season.

Oak Harbor 18, Sehome 3
Junior shortstop Rebekah Peterson tripled in two runs in the top of the fourth inning, but that would be the lone highlight of the Mariner offense which was held to just two hits. Sophomore Jordan Walker picked up the other hit, while Peterson, Payton Huntley and Elyse Krout each scored a run.

Mount Vernon 24, Squalicum 1
Storm catcher Addison Hauber had a single, stole two bases and scored a run to supply the offense for her team which is still looking for its first victory of the season. Keeley Meling also drew two walks for the Storm.
