Mount Baker 4, Lynden Christian 2
Before this game, the last play that Mountaineer senior Ava Jeretzky was a part of against the Lyncs was when she took a line drive off her pitching hand in the district tournament last year. She had to be removed from the game, and Lynden Christian went on to win and secure a state berth. In her first at bat of this game, she homered to right-center field to give her team an early 1-0 lead. Mount Baker took a 2-0 lead in the fourth when freshman left fielder Kara Welters drove a double to center field which scored Ella Maloley. The Mountaineers scored twice more in the top of the seventh inning when Jeretzky walked with the bases loaded, and on Kennedy Rathjen single which scored Annalee Cohn. The Lyncs were able to score two runs in the bottom of the seventh, and were threatening to add more, when Rathjen took a ground ball at third base, stepped on her base and fired over to first for the game ending double play.
