In their home opener, the Borderites scored in every inning to take down the Wildcats. Senior right fielder Teya Zaddack went 3-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in to lead the hit parade, while senior pitcher Emersyn Bakker knocked in three runs with two hits. Bakker was strong in the circle as well as she just one hit and struck out nine in her complete game effort. Blaine also got multiple base hits from Brie Smith, Shaylie Daniels and Bella Vezzetti.
